The Money Management Program in Illinois serves individuals who are referred through the Illinois Department on Aging's Community Care Program or Senior Protective Services. Clients must meet the financial and need criteria established by Illinois Department on Agingᅠfor these programs, and AARP Foundation guidelines.ᅠSeveral agencies throughout Illinois provide Money Management Programᅠservices. A few programs also provide limited MoneyᅠManagenment Programᅠservicee to individuals who do not meet the above criteria. Our senior service agency welcomesᅠvolunteers to assist inᅠproviding a protective service for limited income seniors. Volunteers will help manage the finances of the seniors.ᅠ Volunteers will assist in establishing a budget, billing paying and reconciliation of bank statements.ᅠWith your help as a volunteer you will assist the low income seniors as well as promote independent living and prevent institutionalization, guardanship or homelessness.
