The Mission of the Massachusetts Money Management Program and Greater Lynn Senior Services (GLSS)Money Management Program is to promote independant living for older citizens who are at risk because of their inability to manage their household finances. The service is provided to elders on limited incomes who have no friends or relatives to help.

Volunteers help keep track of financial matters by:

• writing checks to pay routine bills
  
• balancing the checkbook
  
• setting up a budget.

Volunteers usually expect to serve approximately 4--6 hours a month.
