Chelsea Revere Winthrop Elder Services was incorporated in 1972 an is a non-profit home care corporation funded by the Executive Office of Elder Affairs. Its mission is to help elders live in their own homes in their own community with dignity, independence, and safety. The Money Management Program for Seniors is part of a nationwide effort to assist older people who are at risk of losing their independence because they are unable to pay their rent, food and utility bills on time. The program is staffed by fully insured, screened and trained volunteers who help organize mail, balance checkbooks, create budgets and write checks for the client's signature.
