The mission of InnovAge is to promote independence and enrich the quality of life as we age. Our goal is to help seniors and disabled persons live independently within the homes and communities of their choosing; and to avoid or delay institutional care for as long possible.
We accomplish this goal through various direct programs and services that in 2011 reached approximately 13,400 older and disabled Coloradans and related family members in 23 Colorado Counties.
Our programs include the Money Management Program, which, through coordination from the Colorado Department of Human Services and AARP Foundation, AARP's affiliated charity, helps low-income vulnerable persons manage their limited resources. Seniors Inc. volunteers in the Denver metropolitan area help their clients organize and pay their bills, balance their checkbooks, budget their money, and provide oversight that reduces the likelihood of exploitation.
