Aroostook Agency on Aging has contracted with Maine State Ofiice of Elderly Service (OES) and the AARP Foundation's Money Manager Program to offer  elderly and low -income residents a Bill-Payer Program. The purpose is to assist those who are finding it difficult to organize and pay their bills. Volunteers are carefully screened, trained, supervised and monitored by qualified staff and volunteers with broad experience in business and/or public service.

     Interested parties may apply or refer to this program by calling the Aroostook Agency on Aging (207-764-3396). A local coordinator will assist by describing the Bill-Payer Program, its goals and objectives, as well as offer help with the application process.
